Furnished with Southeast Asian and pacific island antiques and statuary, the warmly natural and suggestively temple design is the unpretentious home base for your journey. At this elevation of 700 to 800 feet, you experience Hawaii's most comfortable "Mediterranean" climate zone. The large and private grounds are gardens of mature jacaranda trees, monkey pods, royal poincianas, plumerias, banyan trees, papayas, bananas, Tahitian lime and pomelo, coconut palms, myriad varieties of flowering plants and rare bamboos, and superb ocean views.
