Dear Guests,

Along with your Hawaii vacation home rental, we offer the opportunity to purchase trip insurance that would cover the cost of your vacation rental in the event you or anyone traveling with you were unable to travel due to unforeseen health issues.  Although this is purely optional, we do recommend that you purchase the insurance.  Recently, we have had two cases involving last minute cancellations.  One situation was due to the flu and a serious illness in the other case.  Both guests had declined the travel insurance, which would have cost them a few hundred dollars. Ultimately they wound up paying out several thousand dollars.  In addition to insurance for your vacation rental stay with us, you may purchase additional insurance for other components of your vacation.
