Mauka Beach Bungalow is located at the south end of the Puako Beach community road. It is situated on the Mauka or mountain side with direct beach access across the road. There is a sweeping view of Mt. Mauna Kea to the east as well as views of the Kohala Mountains to the north and Mt. Mauna Lani to the south. Enjoy a peek of the Pacific from the lanai before joining neighbors and friends at the waters edge for another beautiful Puako sunset. The bungalow is designed with two bedrooms, each with a bathroom located at opposite ends of the building. The open kitchen/dining and living room are located in the center of the structure and combined with the covered lanai offer a variety of dining and entertaining options. Puako Beach Road is two and a half miles long and perfect for walking and jogging. Direct water access is convenient for snorkelling, ocean kayaking, or spending an afternoon on the beach with the turtles. The south end of the road leads to a path along the ocean's edge where you may watch the surfers, picnic at the little park, explore the petroglyphs, or walk on to the shops and restaurants of the Mauna Lani Orchid Hotel. You will find the Puako General Store at the north end of the community along with the picturesque historic wooden church. The white sands of Waialea Bay as well as Hapuna Beach Park are located on a side road near the north entrance to our community.
